Robert Slakki is an author born and raised in a dying industrial town situated in Northern Lincolnshire the yellow belly county, bordering Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, England.

Northern Monkeys is his first novel in a series of three, released on 19th April 2022, which follows Dave Ross through his rather boring mundane life before it escalates into an explosive mixture of sex, violence, love, friendship and survival.

In progress is the second book in the NM series as well as the opening title in the DCI Kelly Lynch series which will be available towards the end of 2022 or early 2023. DCI Lynch leads the London Serious Crimes Investigation Unit where she and a dedicated team are tasked with solving some of the more complicated, brutal and testing crimes across London.
